Just wow. I have stayed in many nice hotels, but this one overdid it. The design of the hotel, rooms, amenities and everything else is extremely well thought and executed. It's like a luxurious Airbnb, in a hotel with all the greatest amenities and comfort. All staff members (the 20-so I interacted with) were helpful and truly hospitable. I cannot believe the value for money of this place, they really set the bar high. I hope I find this everywhere I travel in the future.

Getting downstairs, outside and picking up an Uber was also so much more convenient than the Strip hotels. Overall, I had just spent six crappy days at the Bellagio, and I wasn't a fan of the Palms where our conference was either, so Virgin was a welcome change of pace.

You pay half the price of a Vegas Strip hotel, and can pay $10 Uber ride to get there if you like. Good price to performance if this is what you are after.
